Role for sign language interpreter in Webex Meetings

When sign language interpreter(s) are present for a meeting, they need to be visible throughout the entire Webex meeting, even when views may change/presenters change. This is in addition to the speaker's video being viewed if that is chosen.

While there is the ability to pin a video (both by the individual participants or the host), this can be problematic in different views.

Suggest:

  • adding role for sign language interpreter similar to the CC role for captionist in Webex meetings for 2 participants (typically interpreters take turns throughout a meeting). This role would be assigned by the meeting host, similar to the CC role.

  • adding the ability to pin the video of participants with role of sign language interpreter for all attendees, while still allowing for the speaker's video to be viewable. This ensures that if someone needs to see the speaker's face they can continue to do so.

Need to add option for participant to make the screen bigger (individual screen) during sharing PowerPoint or when there are several participants which makes the size of the interpreter smaller. It would be nice to pin one specific screen of the interpreter and allowing participants to zoom the size of the screen for better viewing during PowerPoint presentation or when the speaker is presenting with several participants.
