Instead of having to use the get command, the Jira bot (once added to a space) should be able to retrieve an issue preview when the issue is mentioned as a part of a chat. In this example (pulled from Slack real time usage) the Jira issue was mentioned as a part of the chat. The Jira bot in Slack retrieved the basic information about the issue and posted it into the same chat session.
