Consistent format needed in email communications when scheduling

There are many different formats and structures of emails sent to the host and attendees. Some sessions come as an event in your Outlook calendar, some come with a link that will immediately open an event for your calendar, and some come as text with only a link to download the calendar item at the very bottom. There is a large number of factors that produce different messages, including:

  • using the Outlook or Canvas integrations

  • using meetings, trainings, or events

  • whether one is the host, alternate host, or an attendee

These inconsistencies lead to poor productivity and having to frequently check the web portal to ensure one is not missing any important sessions.

Please investigate converting these all to the more modern styling of the Meetings messages and work to unify the user experience across all products.

    We have a long term plan to consolidate all meeting invitation templates to a single place in Control Hub. This will take some time, but is on our radar.
