Support saving multiple IM attachments at once… let a user highlight more than one IM (or even just one), right-click / Save Attachments, and select the folder to save any/all attachments, with the names provided from that attachments when inserted by the other IM participants.

Support deleting multiple IMs at once… let a user highlight more than one IM, right-click, Delete (or Leave), note (do you want to save this IM before deleting) and have the IM delete.

Support saving an IM to an email message with one-click… let a user highlight more than one, right click, Save to Email, and have the message paste into an email that can be sent to self to save for reference… with blank spaces between the messages from each sender of the IM
