WebEx Room devices registered to WebEx but not operating in hybrid mode are able to place direct 3rd party SIP calls whilst the customer’s devices enabled for hybrid calling must always be routed to the customer’s on-prem resources unless connecting to WebEx.

It would be extremely helpful if this limitation could be removed in future releases of WebEx. It seems odd that our customer’s WebEx Room devices registered to WebEx but not operating in hybrid mode are able to place direct 3rd party SIP calls whilst the customer’s devices enabled for hybrid calling must always be routed to the customer’s on-prem resources unless connecting to WebEx.
