Or if someone is joining from a room, you could edit the room space name to be "John, Steve and Susan"

This would be great for those whose name "in the system" does not align with their preferred name (trans folk, recently married individuals, those with English/colloquial versions of their name). Allow both hosts to change and for self changes.

Yes that would make things easier. But maybe give the host the ability to activate this because there are sessions where name changing is helpfull but there are sessions in which names should be unchangable.
