Quickly add another person to an active chat

I´m in the middle of a chat with someone and we realize we need input from another team member. It took too many steps to create a space just so I could add another person to the ongoing conversation. I should be able to add others without having to leave the conversation.

    Possibly something like spooling off a specific thread into another "thread named" space, so that new participants can be added without handing them a year long chat history.
