Allow a user to sort the favorites alphabetically to that its easy to locate someone in the list.
Please!
I've thrown another vote here, as this is 1 of my 2 largest usability issues with the Webex interface / experience.
This is an essential feature missing from this platform. True collaboration takes many contacts and spaces - being allowed to alphabetize your tools is a platform 101. Please consider ASAP.
YES, need alphabetized please
Would be so much easier to use if you could sort alphabetically. Like that's a basic feature so why would you not include it?
who had the brilliant idea to not alphabetize a contact list? Please fix this
Can't believe this functionality isn't available, thinking about moving from skype, and this is a hugh obstacle.
I am seriously stunned that the developers working on webex chat thought it would be OK to not include the ability to sort contacts alphabetically. This is such an elementary feature and causes EVERYONE excessive frustration. Do you not see that this issue is spread across numerous boards and forums and has been for years now? What do developers think users actually do with this tool if not organize communications? Crazy idea- maybe team up with the actual user experience team instead of allowing yourself to think you have all the answers.
Add me to the list of users who would find alphabetical order valuable. A to Z, and Z to A.
This is my number one beef with webex.
Currently, the list of contacts on the left is not just useless but even detrimental.
It's much quicker and less frustrating to find a contact using the search field than to scan the list.
Trying to figure out who of the colleagues I work with closely for my current task is online, is an exercise in stoicism.
Most of the time the fact that I have talked to someone an hour before means I *don't* want to talk to them now, but have another issue that I like to talk about with someone else, so this "recently talked to"-ordering makes no sense to me at all.
As somebody else put it: It's like your kitchen utensils constantly moving around to match last-used-date.
In my opinion an option to sort by one of name, online status, recently talked to, should be easy to implement.
Please introduce this, it really would help, especially for dev team and linux app
Looks like it's been about 10 months since this was initially posted... and it's still needed! Please consider this feature for future updates!!
Yes, please add this option! It would calm my OCD brain so much. Thank you!
This is so needed, along with a sort option with a few selections. Skype messenger has the ability to allow you to sort by different types, name, availability(active status). It also has the ability to put people in groups, but I guess that is what spaces are for, but they're more controlled. I prefer the ability to organize my contacts (Direct) a different way, more like the Skype Messenger.
