In our organisation where our users often participate in meetings and events with other organisations, it would be useful to allow users to change the name of the room to reflect the participants attending. Our room names don't have any relevance for participants outside our organisation and so allowing the room name to be changed easily by users. At the moment, a room devices name can be changed in Control Hub.

At the moment, user can connect to a room through proximity and "connect to device" feature in webex app. However, this doesn't prevent the room name appearing in the participant list with attendees joined to the room appearing under the room name.

I'd like to suggest an extra field on the room device known as "display name" which a user can change easily from the touch controller. This gives the room devices the same functionality as users with the ability to change their display name.
