Add Support for more Poly Headsets (e.g. Savi 400 series)

Cisco announced that Webex App will support Poly Headsets coming with the November 2021 update. Unfortunately still one Poly Headset (Poly Voyager Focus UC with BT600) is supported.
Poly support assured me that older models (e.g. Savi 400 series) will also be supported from Poly side, but it depends on Cisco integration.

Since many customers use these headsets, it would be very helpful if they were supported with the Webex app as soon as possible.

    Also Webex App over VDI. Call Control via Poly is very apreciated (Does not work via Blackwire 5200, Voyager Focus 2 or 4300 series) which is confirmed by Poly.

    It would be great if the Savi 400 could be implemented and it is not mandatory to include this product in the compatibility list. In this way, one of our customer can gradually switch to new headsets and does not have to replace 700 headsets at once when switching from Jabber to Webex.

    We are working with Poly to see whether we can make this work for Savi 400 series. We might make this work, but not add to official support list, as the device is already out of sales, Cisco cannot get the device to provide engineer testing and customer support.

    Even the current Savi series (e.g. 8200) is currently not compatible with Cisco Webex.

    With MS-Teams all Savi Headsets works fine, even the old Savi 400 series.

    I am not sure what is the strategy of Cisco - getting customers to MS teams?

    This headset has been certified with Cisco Jabber and Microsoft Teams - we do not need to have every single headset tested / fully certified by Cisco.


    Isn't there a way to generally support older models from Poly / Plantronics since they will most likely have a similar interface accessible for apps?

    Savi 400 has been end of sales by Poly and we Cisco cannot aquire the device to provide support for our customers.
