Buying Guide for Mixer Grinders in 2022

When it comes to mixer grinders, there are a lot of factors to consider before making a purchase. To make the process easier to end up buying the top mixer grinder in India, we've put together this Buying Guide For Mixer Grinders.

The first thing you need to decide is what type of mixer grinder you want. There are three main types: Stand Mixers, Hand Mixers, and Hand Blenders. If you're looking for something to help with large batches of food, a Stand Mixer would be the best option. If you're mostly looking to mix/blend ingredients or chop vegetables by hand, then a Hand Mixer or Hand Blender would be better suited for your needs.

After you've decided on the type of mixer grinder you want to buy, it's important to think about how much you're willing to spend. Generally, mixer grinder prices vary depending on the wattage of the mixer grinder and how many jars are included in the package.

Finally, keep in mind that different manufacturers may offer different warranty periods for their products. It is usually a good idea to purchase a mixer/grinder with at least 1 year warranty period so if anything goes wrong, you can always get your money back or return the product for repair under warranty.

Choosing the Right Wattage and Speed

The wattage of a mixer grinder refers to how powerful the motor of the mixer grinder is. It's an important factor because it directly impacts the functionality and efficiency of the mixer/grinder. For example, higher wattage mixers are more efficient when it comes to blending hard ingredients such as dry chilies or nuts. If you're using a low-wattage mixer for these kinds of jobs, you'll often find that they don't get mixed properly and some bits still remain whole. The same goes with mixing dough - if you're using a low wattage machine to knead your dough, you will need to add water gradually while kneading in order for it to reach the desired consistency.

The speed of a mixer grinder is also an important factor because it impacts the time taken to complete a task and this, in turn, affects your cooking/baking times if you're using the mixer for these purposes. Generally, higher wattage mixers have more speed options. In certain models, there are even 10 or 15 different speed settings to choose from! Apart from that, if you need to blend very hard ingredients such as dry chilies, nuts, etc., higher wattage mixers will be able to achieve optimum results much faster than their low wattage counterparts so they'll save you a lot of time in the long run.

Types of Mixer Blades

There are two main types usually included in mixer grinders - the flat blade and the star blade. The flat blade is best for making batters, while the star blade is better for grinding or chopping ingredients. It's important to know what type of blades your mixer grinder comes with so you can use them accordingly. For example, if you want to make a smoothie, you'll need to use the blender attachment that usually comes with most hand mixers.

Number of Bundled Jars

Most mixer grinders come with anywhere from two to four jars. It's important to check how many jars are included in the package because it can often save you money in the long run. If you're someone who likes to cook a variety of dishes, it's likely that you'll end up using all of the different jars that come with the mixer grinder.

Brand Preferences and Pricing

There are a lot of different brands out there when it comes to mixer grinders and each one has its own strengths and weaknesses. It's important to do your research before making a purchase and decide which brand you prefer. Generally, mixer grinders range in price from around Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 10,000. Keep in mind that you get what you pay for - so if you're looking for a high-quality mixer grinder that will last long, expect to spend a little more than the average price range.

Warranty

Finally, always remember to check the warranty period offered by the manufacturer before making a purchase - the longer the warranty period, the better. Of course, keep in mind that mixer grinders can be quite durable and you may not need to avail of the warranty. However, if something goes wrong or you get a defective product, it's always good to know that your money is safe.
