Chat Panel Improvement

• We would like to see more robust management tools for the Chat Panel. We have extremely large events, and the chat panel can be challenging to manage. We almost exclusively use the Chat panel because the Q&A panel doesn’t allow the panelists to communicate amongst themselves, and we often prefer to have all the attendees see the questions coming in. The problem is that we often have multiple panelists managing the Chat panel (whether it is restricted or unrestricted), and there is no way that other panelists can determine if an attendee’s question has been answered privately by one of the panelists (we usually balance between answering privately for nuanced/non-universal questions and addressing more relevant questions on microphone with the presenter).

Recommended Solution:

• At a minimum, we would like the ability for a panelist to mark a comment or question as answered/addressed. Have a checkmark/highlighted color/notation indicating that the chat question has been addressed privately…this helps to better manage the Chat The responding panelist can make this notation.

Also, please consider:

• Ability to move certain chat questions to different categories/views such as answered privately, answered publicly, and deferred

• Ability to assign questions to certain panelists

• Ability for panelist to make to make private notations about the question (example - only address if extra time is available, this question is a priority, this question is a repeat, etc.)
