What causes ‘Outlook not working’?

The most common causes of Outlook not working are either an antivirus is blocking the connection or a corrupt Outlook installation. In some cases, it may be caused by a third-party application interfering with the normal operation of Microsoft Outlook. Ensure that your firewall is allowing access to all outgoing TCP ports and remote access ports for Microsoft Office Outlook Web App.
