Need an option to disable auto update of webex app on client side.
The reason for disabling webex app auto update is because :
They are not using the Auto-Update feature, the update the users client only when it is necessary for security reasons or missing features otherwise they stick to one stable version. Right now what is happening is the client prompts the users to update, the user clicks on the update and the update downloads but their security agent of the PC stops the update from installing. Currently this is causing unnecessary traffic on the network / noise , also IT security is flagging this as suspicious traffic as we do not allow any client on users PC to auto-update.
We have received an update from provisioning team as well as TAC team stating :
Provisioning Team : disabling auto update it’s applied to the WebEx site.
TAC Team : Don't have an option to disable auto update of WebEx app .
