Change Request:
Add a config parameter on admin level to disable user triggered client update for VDI clients/users to avoid uncontrolled increase of CPU utilization and decreased client performance in VDI environment.
The Problem:
Any user can start an update of the Webex meetings VDI in a Citrix environment. When a user performs the update, it will start at the same time the update for all other Webex Meetings VDI users.
When a user clicks on the update button it will close for all other users on the same host.
This causes a very high CPU utilization of the virtual environment and very low Webex Meetings VDI client performance.
TAC Case: 692818934
Currently: Works as designed. Auto updates are disabled by default for VDI/thin clients.
The problem here is that the update was invoked by a user and that is a functionality that at this stage cannot be disabled.
In VDI environment the client update process should be triggered by admin only to keep the enviornment consistent

If updates were disabled, how did the user trigger the update?
