notification badges can be improved. Please see the attached screenshot.

When there are unread messages in 2 teams, the number 2 is displayed on the teams button on the left hand menu which is fine. However I do not think it is useful to duplicate this for the messaging button on the left hand side menu.

I think number badges should only be displayed on the messaging button if there are any unread direct messages only.

Also there is a blue circle next to each channel that has unread messages, I think this should instead show the number of unread messages in each channel.
