We have a shared contacts list in Office 365 that multiple users use and is regularly updated in Outlook, that we would like to feed through to the WebEx app. Currently when searching for contacts after being connected to Outlook it only shows contacts for the user mailbox.
Hello,
my understanding is that we are talking about the local outlook client that coexists with a local Webex Client on a users desktop PC.
Outlook contact search is enabled within the webex client by default and this works fine but only for a outlook mailbox that matches the webex e-mail address for login e.g. outlook account <username@domain.com> is the same as webex login.
Within Outlook you can be a member of several different mailboxes e.g. <shared-box@domain.com> and this mailbox has its own contact-list. When contact search in webex is executed, these other contact-lists in the local outlook client are not included in the current search function. Is there a way to acchieve this?
Best Regards
Markus

As it's a shared contacts list in O365, is it possible to upload this contact list to Cisco cloud?
We're doing a feature to support organizational contacts search and lookup, even if these contacts are not Webex users, you'll be able to find them in Webex by search.
