Currently, scheduled meetings in the Cisco Webex Meetings desktop app (WDA) does not refresh automatically. In order for new meetings to show up in the list, you have to press the refresh button to retrieve the scheduled sessions from the Webex server. It would be great if the app would automatically sync all Webex sessions.
The Webex app (not the Cisco Webex Meetings desktop app) has implemented a notification engine that updates any changes to a user's calendar in near-real-time. As there is also a cache invalidation function, the calendar & meetings list will not require a "refresh" button.
The Cisco Webex Meetings desktop app (WDA) does not have a framework for meeting update notifications. This is why there is a "refresh" button.
As we have publicly stated our plan is to move all Webex Meetings functionality to the Webex app, therefore it does not make sense to retrofit notification engine to the WDA.
I have updated the description with a screenshot since the status still says "Need more info".
It shouldn't be too hard to implement imho.

Yes, Alex described the issue perfectly. It's also true for Windows, that you have to manually force the refresh to show new meetings.

In order for the new meetings to show up (and consequently update notification windows), I am forced to press the circular refresh button as shown in the attached image. I assume this is the same issue as the original poster. I am personally working on a Mac OS X machine and have Cisco WebEx Meetings app version 40.9.8.3. What additional info is needed to help resolve this issue?
