Currently, developers are able to create integrations that generate both refresh and access tokens. There is currently no way for a developer to invalidate an access token while leaving the refresh token in-tact. The OAuth process has a lot of moving parts; therefore the likelihood a developer will need to invalidate a specific token is high as corner cases and failure scenarios are tested. This feature request, when implemented, gives the developer greater control over their code because they will not need to wait for access tokens to expire. The overall reliability of Webex apps as a whole will benefit as quality control is improved.
