How can I add customized direct notification sounds

How can I customize direct notification sounds? The available options are too soft and I would like to be able to add something from my own folder.

Yes, the sounds are way too low. Please make them louder to be able to actually hear them.

Hi. Why can't you just add it to the windows sounds API and let users select custom audio? Or it would really help to have a browse button in the sound settings to point to a custom audio file from the hard drive. As the least option you can add move notification sounds with some at least about 5 sec long... not just a very short dings... Thank you.

Hi fgene67@aol.com. Thank you for your idea. Would your issue be solved if we had more notification sounds (that you can customize for spaces and direct messages) and the option to change the volume of notifications?
