Closed Captions - Enable Closed Captions at Org Level but require users to turn ON (or OFF) as needed

See SR 693748604.

We want to enable the closed captioning feature at the organizational level but it should be turned OFF by default to users. Users would need to turn ON the feature themselves to actually use it.

We do have meetings where the information may be sensitive and we would like there to be no transcript of the meeting. We would like to be able to manage this at the organizational level by making sure CC is turned OFF by default and not hidden. Hiding CC is removing it from the screen but others can unhide it which is why we'd like to manage it at the org level.

We want to enable closed captions at the org level but we want users to be required to turn it on in a meeting if they want it.

Additionally, we are aware that users can HIDE the feature by clicking the CC button in the lower left of the meeting window but this does not turn OFF the feature for the meeting as participants can still unhide it in their meeting window. We want users to have the flexibility to turn it off for the meeting entirely if they're hosting for example so that participants can't turn it on for the meeting either.

Please let me know if you need further clarification.

Hi, could you please provide more info about the use case? Each user in a meeting can already turn on/off CC for themselves, and the next meeting remembers whether they had it on or off.

If you are referring to enabling/disabling the feature entirely for the whole meeting at the host level, then I've gotten a similar request before ( WXCUST-I-7218). It seems they wanted CC off for certain sensitive meetings for security/privacy reasons; if this is your case, could you also please elaborate? I've gotten feedback from deaf/hard-of-hearing users that they rely on CC for accessibility reasons, to understand and contribute to the meeting, and that if Webex is trusted for audio to go through, so should CC
