When referencing the dial-in information from the “i” information button in the upper left corner of the meeting, the attendee ID is just a number with no # after it. Although the verbal prompts when dialing in do mention to press # after entering the number, it could be that someone starts entering the number before the prompt has finished or misheard it and doesn’t get their audio merged because of the missed #. We request a # be added after these IDs.
Thanks for the idea Melissa. Enter info on the phone followed by # is a very common use case, and I roughly counted over a dozen audio prompts using this. In order to maintian feature and user experience consistency, we cannot add the # into display info. It will also raise confusion that the customer may not know to press # once or twice.
