Native call park integration for Webex for BroadWorks

UC1 allowed for native call park and retrieve of active or alerting calls by right-click menu option on the call/contact. Webex has no support for this, and the only way to park/retrieve calls is to manually enter the FAC in the webex clients dialpad.


as we migrate our customers off UC1, we are getting a lot of negative feedback that features they utilize everyday in UC1, are no longer supported in the new "upgraded app".


The ideal solution would be a button option, like the right-click option on UC1, for active or alerting calls that would allow a park option natively in the client without the need to manually dial any FAC. likewise, a retrieve option from the contacts menu when you right-click a contact that has an alerting, active, or parked call against their extension.

    We have group call park in the app which is a better experience than the direct call park we had in UC-One.
    If there is lots of demand we will consider adding direct call park too.
