gender neutral term for host in German (Gastgeber*in instead of Gastgeber)

The German word fpr host is male: Gastgeber. Whoever is hosting the meeting is inevitably made a Gastgeber, which doenst represent gender identities or inclusive language standards. The term should either be gender neutral or there should be a variety of terms available.
