When I select my 88xx desk phone in the Webex App under device and then start or join a meeting it will use my desk phone for the audio (in case of the 8845/65 also for video). However the mute function does not propagate to the phone or to the App causing double mute scenarios. When I select a room system like the Webex Desk Mini the Mute between the App and the Mini are synchronized. This should be the same experience across the platform.
with the push to make desk phones more like meetings devices through recent firmware updates, this seems like an obvious addition that would make users experience much better.
