I think that this is due to the fact that such talented programmers always have a job and they do not try to advertise themselves. I tried to put together a simple game myself, but the graphics were having problems and now I have a nearly finished game with terrible graphics. I would ask for help, but I do not know who does it.

It seems to me that such an artist should be really a professional in his field, because the creation of such graphics is an expensive business, and some companies are completely mistaken, believing that such graphics are not needed at all. Concept art can perform other design tasks as well, working as a team and helping creative people, because such people think through everything from style to weapon location. These people are very hard to find.
