Hi Xavier, thank you for elaborating, I understand your ask. Unfortunately the current edit limit of 10 is sufficient for the vast majority of our users. This limit set by engineering is very rarely reached. Based on current priorities and Webex brand guidelines we don't have a plan to revisit this in the next 24 months. However, if it can be tied to a specific deal and dollar amount please send details to me. A business case like this could help with priorities.

I'm using the api for a pointing poker bot. When a user submits a vote to the bot, the bot posts a message showing a list of users that voted and a list of users that are still thinking. If 10 people are participating, 10 messages would be created showing the status of voting after each user submits a vote. It would be nice to have just 1 status message that can be updated. Also, I don't understand how this could be related to impersonating real users.

Why would a BOT need to edit a message once, let alone 20 times? Are you trying to use BOTs to impersonate/provision real users? This is not recommended.
