Webex App Ringtone on Chromebook

Please update the Webex Android app in order that it will play a ringtone on a Chromebook. Calling seems to work well, however right now when an incoming call is alerting it does not play a ringtone.


Chromebook market share is increasing so to have a working softphone offering that can be used on a Chromebook is an advantage. Other vendors are doing it via Android apps on Chrome OS.

    As a workaround is does appear that the ringtone does work on Chrome OS with the Webex Calling app. Just not the newer 'Webex' app.

    A pop up notiifcation does appear on Chrome OS when an incoming call is alerting but there is no audio alert/ring tone which results in missed calls when the app is not on top.
