Provide the ability to set schedule for WebEx registered device software download & update

Instead of automatically updating systems randomly throughout the working week( Monday - Friday ) I would like to set a day & time of the month for the updates to be downloaded & updated to prevent daily operation conflict.

This currently causes problems for users that depend on their video conference units.

I can only imagine how frustrating it would be for phones..

    My organization has 60 desk units onsite that download updates simultaneously when pushed. The increased traffic grinds our network to a halt, making any web-based program unusable. The main applications we use daily operations are web-based.


    We have five sites connected through an MPLS ring. Network over all five sites slows to the point where requests time out. We operate 24/7 and do not close. There is no good time to take the network down for updates.


    After looking at logs, we learned that setting updates to a specific release will stop them from applying, but not from downloading. We want to keep these units up to date, but we cannot abide what amounts to a network outage every time there is an update.


    We would like the ability to create device groups and schedule downloads and/or meter the downloads, please.
