Using the Cisco Webex iOS SDK developers can create applications for iOS and iPadOS only. Unfortunately, there is no native Cisco Webex SDK for macOS. Developers can not write a Swift application for all Apple devices.

Apple has released the SwiftUI framework. Using SwiftUI developers can create apps for iOS, iPadOS and macOS using the same codebase.

Integrating SwiftUI into the Cisco Webex iOS SDK will give developers the ability to write a single Swift app for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS devices.

This way, users who have both an iPhone and a MacBook will be able to use the same app on different devices. There is also an opportunity to attract customers who only have macOS devices.
