The issue that customer was facing is that he created a couple of workspaces with activation codes. The activation codes expired and customer tried to generate a new activation code without deleting the workspace and adding it back again.

So in Control Hub when you go to workspace and select it, you have the button "Add device" which generate an activation code but it will only work with room devices.

Customer would like to have in this button the option to generate an activation code for an MPP device.
