Reserve Phone Number to not be assigned

This would be useful when certain phone numbers in inventory are desired to remain in inventory for a specific use. Since we are using Webex Calling as the number management utility it would be beneficial to preserve phone numbers indefinitely or for a specified amount of time. For example a phone number that was previously assigned to a user could be reserved for 6 months before going back into inventory.

We do not manage the number lifecycle or commercial arrangement. This lifecycle is owned by the CCPP or provider behind a LGW. Our plan would be to have parked/reserved TNs for numbers purchased from Cisco. Customer's should work with their PSTN provider for reserving those numbers. From Webex Calling perspective those numbers can be left provisioned and unassigned without additional cost.

Can you elaborate on why this wouldn't be available for all CCP and PSTN types?

This is currently in the Cisco Calling Plan backlog. This request is not valid for other PSTN types.
