Options to provide privacy/data regulations or terms of service to the end user

In EU, or atleast germany, companies are required to provide a user of a service with information on how his personal data is or might be used when using a service/software.

One example is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

When a user registers an account at webex or joins a web meeting by name and email address, there should be a possibility to show the user information about the required regulations/terms when using the service.

Maybe it could also be useful to have an opt in or opt out checkbox that the user is required to select, before using the service.

One way of implementation could also be a custom menu inside of the users webex account, with a link to a PDF which includes the companys or countries regulations. But this would only help for registered users.

Related Idea only requesting a consent option for video recordings:
    https://ciscocollabcustomer.ideas.aha.io/ideas/WXCUST-I-336

As far as I understand this Idea it wants a privacy statement for using webex from the start of a meeting. I want to extend this Idea in the follwing way:

"The feature should be implemented to enable meeting recordings in Webex, whereby a privacy policy from company-internal templates (for example, for training recordings, which are only for the participants and for better follow-up; project-specific, etc.) can be displayed and agreed to during a meeting. If a participant feels uncomfortable with this, they can reject the policy and will not be recorded, while all other participants can accept the privacy policy and will then be recorded in compliance with legal requirements according to the meeting settings. Webex already offers the option to select, during a recording, that participants' videos are not recorded and only the shared screen with the voices is captured. The missing features are:

    • Provision of a privacy policy that can be requested in each meeting.

    • A corresponding pop-up window that legally obtains consent (currently, it is only an "Info" pop-up about the current recording of the meeting).

    • If a participant declines, their entire participation is not recorded."
